Last day in Palm Springs. The hotel included breakfast which turned out to be very nice. There was a wide selection of items. Fruit, Greek yogurt, scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage were our favourite. Then it was time to pack up our bags. Chuck and Deb headed for home before 11. Safe travels.
Doug J was down here visiting his parents and invited us to join them for the day. He and his dad Wayne picked us soon after 11 and took us to their golf side home. For the next 5 ours we caught up in the sunshine. Darlene had a lovely selection of snacks and fruit and a cold beverage. Lemon water was enjoyed too.
Doug kindly dropped us off at the airport just before 5.We dropped off our bags, quickly went thru security and only had time to change into pants before boarding. The flight home was uneventful other then a poor baby who had a rough trip. I watched the Barbie movie and S Gran Turismo. There was no meal selections so a bag of 10 pretzels and drink were our supper. We landed 10 minutes early but they had no deplaning crew ready so had to wait. Nexus got us thru pretty quick as did baggage.
Britt picked us up curbside and dropped us at home at 11:30. THANKS B! Har wagged her tail but stayed in her kennel. she came out to sniff the bags, get a scratch and back to kennel. S was starved with no real food options on the plane. The only thing here was crackers and peanut butter but it worked. He watched a bit of sports then sound asleep. I read for a bit then off to sleep too.
