Shania Twain Concert

Sheldon went up to the 28th floor to have a swim upon waking. Well a few laps followed by hot tub soak sequence. I showered up and packed up. Coffee was made once he was back and showered. We checked out and headed south around 10. We stopped at another Tim's for iced coffees and a breakfast snack. We stopped in Red Deer to visit Randy, Yvonne and Randy's sister Pat. I also beach waved my now dry hair quick.

Before hitting the QE2 again we stopped at Costco to pick up a couple other colors of pants I liked and found 2 rugs. A blizzard each was our late lunch to hold us over till the buffet supper. We arrived at the Saddle dome early before 5. Parked and had to wait inside till 5:30 when supper reservation doors opened.

Sheldon purchased the Shania Twain tickets in a Calgary Flames Foundation auction. It was 2 good seats, buffet supper and unbelievably alcoholic drinks too. NO restrictions. The cocktail prices were crazy. For a 2 oz it was $22. We tried all the specials including the feature drink which had cotton candy on top. The meal was good but prime rib not as good as last night.

The concert was fabulous. It was not her usual multi costume change but rather a very personal interaction. She brought up a pile of little kids from the crowd as well as fellow at his 10th concert and his Mom. We sat next to a couple whose kids went to opener Tenielle Townes in Grand Prairie. Once the concert ended we made our way home and fell asleep soon after our heads hit the pillows. The whirlwind concert tour has been fun.
