Cedar chest color change

Another 1.5/10 ths of rain, we will take it. It is a brisk day out at 5. The sunrise was pretty though. I repainted the cedar chest body warm white. Much better. Being so cold over night S brought the car door into the garage. I helped him wet sand the paint spatters out. The white coat on cedar chest was sanded and edges distressed.

There was a spattering of rain drops on the window a few times. The day was very cool and dreary again. After lunch we tried again and the paint still sputtered. Turns out the cans may be the issue. WTH! This means will have to wet sand tomorrow and delay paint plans. Another white coat went on the cedar chest. It was sanded and distressed when dry.

B did horse care & feed then headed to Sylvan Lake at 1:0. She is meeting Dave there for date night. I showered, worked on tutorials and laundry. S had 2 zoom calls. Har’s food was delivered. Good for a couple more weeks. I ran to town after 4 to have supper with Dad. He ate ok but loved the ice cream dessert. There was a few drops of rain on way to town so not even close to warm enough to go outside for a walk. We visited in his room as I swatted flies. Once he got sleepy I left him in TV room with his lap quilt I got him as cold after eating the ice cream.

I grabbed my favorite Opa wrap for supper. Quickly grabbed groceries and back to the ranch. S was catching up on sports. There are frost warnings so I picked 5 zucchini’s and my cantaloupe. The cantaloupe grew from seeds buried in the garden. Poop was scooped and the mandevilla pots bought up to the door. Fingers crossed there is no frost. I still have lots of baby zucs on the vine and potatoes. S and I watched some Who is Erin Carter. He even turned the furnace on as it was chilly in the house.
