Car door spraying started

Checking rain gauge it showed 1/10th ;( Better then nothing I guess. Off to work for me - good thing it is close to home. The frame had underside edge painted. I then worked on the cedar chest. Edges were hand and power sanded. The base was painted a new cobblestone color. The top and base were hemp oiled after cleaning. S spent am online figuring how to get B's car door off. Seems he needs a special tool.

I tried out my lead test kit on an antique cabinet, all is good to go.

I staged a few pictures of the frame.

love the oiled wood but not sure about the new paint color combo

The day was cool and dreary. B and I rode for quite awhile trying to problem solve Roo's behavior. Switch had her front feet trimmed after and Roo got an all around tidy. Sheldon was working on sanding the car door down. I helped him with the first few coats of paint. This led to more YouTube for him as the paint was sputtering a bit. I put another hemp oil coat on the cedar chest top and base.

I gave the dogs a bone to keep busy while we trimmed feet

Cabbage rolls from Ma K were put in over for supper. THANK YOU!! B was off to Carseland pub at 5 to meet friends. I did a poop scoop loop after eating my cabbage rolls. Then I hopped in the hot tub. The weather had darkened and looked threatening. Sure enough it started to rain then hail back to rain. Luckily I had my towel on the edge so put over my head. Once it was back to just rain I headed back in. S had ate and was back on the couch. B was home before 9. I was watching Netflix then read library book for a bit.
