Happy St Paddy's Day

Sun and -12 start and Mom pressing coffee on before 8. I joined her to test out the new espresso flavor baileys she brought. It is not our favorite but we will power thru :) Sheldon joined us after his relaxing mediation start to the day. At least one of us did it.

Mom was off to Dad's at 10. Today is my last day of my ancestry.ca trial. I think I will stop at this point after adding almost 2000 people. What I have gathered is 1- family bonds are fragile. 2- People differ in their need to be connected. 3- Most do not care to add to their "circle".  and 4- As much as "family is everything" is touted I feel that is a sentiment mainly felt by mothers. And some dads. The whole process in the last 2 weeks leaves me feeling very sad about family connections.

Time to go work on paint projects. The table was sanded all over then a paint coat on the base and stain on the top. S took H for a walk in the sunshine and gave her a brush then in for his new peruse.

Back inside from the garage, I attempted to vacuum my table and furniture pieces to try and capture the dust that seems to never end. We had a bowl of chili for lunch. S talked on the phone to Jarrod then Jerry; chatting to both in great length. I went to the garage to prep the custom jewelry box. S took H for another walk then fed Bird the dish I had made up.

I unloaded the desk picked up on Monday and got it scrubbed up. S was back in big brown & sunshine but helped me trouble shoot the dining table to get it closed after putting the butterfly leaf under. We moved the dresser to the door area. I brought the nightstand there too and covered both with sheets to prevent any H inspection slime. A sample jar of paint was filled and care sheet all ready to go. Now to catch up the blog.

S took H for a run to the mail before supper. Once back we had a beverage with S having green beer. He likes to have this every year. Happy St Paddy's Day all. I heated up the leftover veggies and ribs for our supper. We were just finishing cleaning up the kitchen when Mom arrived at 6:30. She had PB&J and cheese and jam sandwich for her supper. I worked on more family tree seeing I actually have 1 more day left on ancestry. That and a couple more DNA relatives contacted me on 23 & Me. Mom went to bed to read and S to the sports TV room. Both S and I headed to bed at 9 to read too.
