It was 9 am again when I awoke, this is getting to be a habit. Papa joined us for coffee and while they visited I finished the art deco cabinet tutorial finally. It is in depth and detailed for sure. S then scrambled eggs and made toast just in time for Ma K to join us all. We visited for the rest of the morning.
Ma and P loaded up their bags and the green/gold chair and were off to the Hat before 1 pm. Sheldon loaded up Harley and headed to town soon after dropping H at Britt's (because she was stoked to go in the truck) for a play date. He was then off to meet a friend at the curling rink for a visit. I headed to the garage and got busy on the vanity hand sanding and staining the top then giving the base a 2nd coat of grey.
B was out at 3 to drop off H, feed horses and headed back to town in 15 minutes. Next up for me I stripped more areas on the accent table that were still visible. It was scrubbed after scraping then I was drying it when S arrived home before 5 with Chinese food for supper. He had gone from curing rink to watch Asher's hockey game.
After 2 full plates of food he was sound asleep in big brown. I watered a couple plants then wrote todays blog. Once awake he turned on a hockey game of course. We ventured out for a hot tub soak. what a beauty night with 0 temps and no wind. After a rinse it was time to read for me but after a bit on online perusing for S he got dressed and ran back to town before 8:30 to fill the merc and watch Asher’s game. He was back at 10 and caught the end of the Oiler’s game including OT.
