Air fryer success

The sleep in streak was broken with me waking at 8. I perused Instagram before heading out to feed H and package up her food for a couple days. S then was up to make coffee and crawl back in bed with his cup. I did quick marketing then out to work on the projects. S did pop out and get the recyclables packed up to go to town this week. It always looks so much better when this is done.

Leftover lunch then we headed to town. Our first stop was to visit Dad but he was sound asleep in his chair so we decided to come back after the hockey game. Asher was playing for gold today in the B division. S and I watched from behind the net with Craig (Amanda was scorekeeping) with a break to watch from upstairs where warm with a hot chai tea.

After the game (sadly they lost in OT) we went back to Dad's who was now totally game for company. We visited in his room with a couple of mugs of juice he requested. This is good seeing he has been off food with a sore mouth. I moved him to his place at his supper table at 4:30 and visited there until Peggy his lunch companion arrived.

S and I headed home greeted by H and Cooper (B and Dave were at the barns) waiting to be fed as now after 5. Just in time for the Flames game too. S prepped the steak and I got our new air fryer washed up and heated. I revived the leftover KFC fries that turned out amazing. S had the steak on the BBQ when Britt and Dave arrived. She fed horses while he joined us for a beer then they were off at 6:30 to hit a seafood truck parked in town.

S headed to big TV for 3rd period of the Flames game while I did my online grocery order. Have you tried it? Amanda and Kaylin do it all the time and have shared the ease it is and you save $$ as not picking up extras you see while shopping. After the Flames lost in OT and S watched Darryl’s interview we went out for a hot tub. It was a beauty night again!! Following a shower I made us a yogurt bowl  which we had in bed while I read my book and S perused the internet falling asleep before 10.
