Sold our dining table!

 A sunny start to the day with S having to make coffee having not prepped last night. He also fed H with my assistance as to what she gets. 

I put more stripper on the side table and while it sat answered messages on the possible sale of our dining table. Yep a friend messaged to see if I had an oval dining table in dark top white bottom, well just the one I finished. Back out the wee table was scraped and scrubbed well, dried and set upside down with a can to hold down one end that needs gluing.

I painted the drawer fronts the grey I planned for the vanity too.

We had pizza for lunch; S caught the news while I did a bit of marketing then we headed back out to the garage. S car trouble shooting continued to be a no luck event. I had him help me haul the vanity out to sand the top then I hauled it back in and glued the front edges and left to dry.

While he was out on a test drive I swept up the dirt under the car and scraped all the wet dog hair off the grate. H and I then went out to feed horses in the -4? S was back inside to trouble shoot online and ordered some parts at Napa. I finished up my projects and came in at 4. S was just deciding to run to town to pick up the parts with Team Canada playing at 4:30.

I did computer work while he ran to town to grab B’s parts and KFC and back just as the USA scored in the first few minutes. We ate and caught the game. I used mineral spirits to take the wax off the table top as I was not a fan of finger marks and got the confirmation the young couple would like the table so it is SOLD! Mom arrived after 6 as I was doing this and S was popping out in the intermission to install the new VW spark plug wires. 

We continued watching the game to the Canada’s victory!! Britt and Cooper arrived before 8 to help. Finish up the car repairs; fingers crossed. Once they were finished B took it for a test drive with 2 thumbs up. Well done you two on your online research and trouble shooting. Seeing she was almost out of gas Mom followed her to town at 8:30.

S and I went out for a hot tub soak then after a rinse moved into bed and watched 2 Down to Earth episodes before calling it a night.
