Sick day for me

I woke with a headache that even with 2 migraine pills would not subside. I brought the prince a coffee in bed after feeding H and crawled back in. The headache came with nausea and general feeling of unwellness. After marketing I did water some plants and do some vacuuming but eventually decided to take a sick day. 

S made toad in the holes for lunch after packing up his hockey gear and the parcels to return and was off to town at 12:30. He did returns, dropped the trash and picked up B's car parts that ended up being wrong before picking up his buddy Dave for hockey at 1:30. He dropped his recently read book off for Craig and did more testing on the furnace. Then while the pizza he ordered cooked he shopped at his favorite Canadian Tire store buying new shin pads and more Xmas lights. He was back home at 5:30 as I was finally starting to feel a bit better and joined him for a piece.

For the afternoon I rested in bed watching a few of the new season of Down To Earth; Down Under. It was a gorgeous sunny day to lay in the sun. Of course Harley wanted in and out 46 times and 2 of the times I was starting to drift off to sleep I had a text then her barking. The day started brisk at -16 but warmed to -6. H had her last steroid dose at supper and her cheek looks much better.

After supper S learned how to sew again as his "new" hockey bag had a ripped seam. He also washed all his gear then hit the couch just in time for his Flames game. B and Cooper arrived at the usual after 7 time to feed seeing I did not get out today. She had them fed and checked over and headed back home before 8.

I worked on marketing and such while S watched his Flames lose then he watched the end of the Oilers game. He and I went for a hot tub soak then crawled into bed watching some Down To Earth. However in short order he was fast asleep. I watched it as well as some Emily in Paris before lights out.
