Another river walk

Harley wanted out at 5:30 to do her business, this has not happened for a long time so was not a big deal but of course I never fell asleep right away. Once awake for the day it was coffee time and a couple brain games after feeding her. The second cup was working on the new computer and getting the blog post up. S perused his laptop before dressing and heading with the skid steer over to Matt's after 10.

I posted the Paetz table tutorial and did the usual sharing and sending. The growth rulers were up next. I picked a font and printed out on the new computer and got busy hand painting it on. I then added bonus B&W floral transfers. B arrived with Dave's truck loaded with a big bag of oats after 11. She did horses stuff for the next while. S was home soon after and back relaxing in big brown. I went out and picked some zucchini and watered them and the 2 planters. Crazy I have zucchini growing in the middle of October.

I stenciled the numbers on baby Thea's ruler then staged a few photos. We had leftovers for lunch, B headed home after 1 taking a pair of boots I sold and delivered to the gal, THANKS! 

We loaded up Harley and headed to the river for a walk around Johnson's Island in the amazing sunshine weather; 15 degrees with no wind or clouds made for a perfect day. 

After our walk we loaded her up and stopped at Grady's to pick up an antique table he offered me. His Dad stopped too and we met his Maremma puppy George, adorable!!

From Grady's house you could see smoke to the north. On the way home we were detoured around what looked like a semi crash. Lots of ambulances and cops lights flashing so think it must me a doozy ;( We got back home, unloaded the table and Harley, S hit big brown and I got back to work on writing the blog and marketing.

For supper I chopped up a Japanese salad while S roasted some veggies and BBQ burgers. It was a beautiful evening after a beauty day with an amazing golden hour and sunset. I went out before 7 to soak in the hot tub and enjoy the view. S came out and got in as I was getting out and the glowing skies continued. After a rinse I crawled into bed to watch my ipad and S after his shower was ready for the first battle of Alberta game. I came out to work on tutorials and watch the game at the island; where my new computer still resides. I made a Hometalk post for the stenciled tulip vase. After the Flames clinched the win by 1 I headed back to bed and my iPad while S relaxed watching highlights of the just watched game in bed.
