Flames playoff WIN!!!

Today we awoke at a normal 8 am time (H did go out at 6:30 then to her kennel) and had first cup of coffee in bed. The day looks to be a beauty ahead. After the coffees and a bit of breakfast we got busy finishing up the yard work. S got the water going on the trees to pump out the almost full tanks while I tried rugs in the trailer and got more things loaded and the bed made with a quilt and new pillows.

I finished weeding the back flower bed. There was a few ambulances and STARS flew over, S drove ranger to east fence and saw lots of vehicles along the namaka road ;( It looks to be bad but we have not heard any details. He then helped pop dandelions along the gravel walk then I fed the bag full to the horses while the 2 got their soaked food after lunch. S saw another gopher and quickly removed him from the premise, another feast for J ;)

A soak in the hot tub was enjoyed once all was done before 2 then it was time to shower and get ready for the big night. We were off to town to take Dad out for a walk at 3 having fed H and left her in the garage. Dave will be coming out later with Cooper and will let her out to play, THANKS! Dad was happy to get outside in the 22 degree no wind beauty day but seemed to have a rough night and was tired. We said our good byes at 4 and he wished up well at the game.

Buying 50/50 tix had a few bonuses last time including a $25 gift card for Canadian Brewhouse so that was where we stopped for supper. Another bonus was free garlic bread platter with app download. We were stuffed adding wings, pizza and a kale salad to it and a couple cocktails. Now to make our way to the saddledome and park the car.

We arrived early at 6 just like S likes it. We found our seats then went up to enjoy a beverage in the sky bar where I saw the Corbiell's across the way. Back down to out seats for warm up and the amazing flag pass and light up display. The building was electric all night and so full of action. The tied 2-2 game went into a nail biting overtime with the Flames scoring to a wild crowd uproar. WOW that was quite a game to see live and in person, thanks for the date S!!

We made our way home and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub with the bright full moon popping thru the clouds off an on at midnight (there was a red blood moon tonight at almost the same time the Flames won, coincidence?). After a quick shower it was highlights for S while I watched a bit of QOTH not shutting out lights till almost 3!! What a night.
