Calgary to AV

Brr it was -13 when H wanted out at 5:30 am but warmed to -7 by 8 am when we woke and made coffee. After a cup or two S loaded up H and they ran to the mail then stopped to take the blankets off the horses on his way by with the truck. We were off for the city not long after with first stop at Costco. The returns took 1/2 and hour with the worlds slowest teller but the loading of a cart and spending took much less.

I then drove and dropped Sheldon at the Bow downtown for his meeting/lunch and I was off to Chinook. A stop at Bath & Bodyworks to get some great sale items then a yogen fruz for lunch. I ate it in my car as I drove across the street to check out wood for rulers and all 5 in stock had issues and went up in price again. Next 3 stops were my favorite local thrift stores where I scored some good treasures to use for my paint contract.

I picked up Sheldon at 2 from his Brazilian steakhouse date. We then drove to Shaina's new sublet place to drop off her parcel and the frame that she will get to Kaylin tonight who will have for the Edmonton guy to pickup Saturday. We then headed home. The temperature hit plus 9 making my Costco frozen items probably pretty soft.

We were back after 3, I unloaded the frozen foods quick, let Har out and we hauled in the rest. S unloaded the horse blankets from truck, loaded his stuff for the bison slaughter day grabbed a water and was off before 4. He stopped in town on his way to the Valley to grab salt for the hides.

got my own lucky money tree!

The warm chinook winds blew. I sorted my thrift treasures and did some accounting and updating.

Britt had went to the oral surgeon this after noon so was had rest of day off and was out by 5. She and I chatted about her treatment plan then she was off to feed horses. She kindly put the kitties away too then doctored Bird's leg that is now swollen on her way out and gave her bute. I ate the last of the goulash and got back to accounting.

It was also kombucha making and bottling night; this batch is pineapple juice from a can. I finished season 2 of McLeod's Daughters while doing so. Time to start season 3 in bed.
