Bottle & recycling day

The sound of the neighbors silaging their field woke us early. Brrr cool windy day ahead with once again coffee in bed to start the day. It seems the heat setting was set to 8 so it was brisk in the house too. I got busy marketing and put a roast in the slow cooker for supper too.

snapped a couple pics of the treasure box so far

S loaded up Harley to go with him to town at 11 to take the bottles and recyclables in. He was back just after 12 as I was video chatting with Deb bringing a pumpkin tea and muffin and Opa for lunch, YUMMY! Bottles brought in over $100 now back to saving more. :)

I got back to working on tutorials and updating sale posts while S rested on the couch before heading out after 2:30 to pump more water. I headed to the garage to work on the coffee table he helped me lift onto my work table. It was painted a pretty grey/brown supervised by the water guy drinking a beer. He then was out to winterize the A/C while I added a raised texture stencil to the coffee table top. This proved to be quite a challenge.

I dug fresh potatoes to go with the roast as well as the last of the .10 corn and it was so delicious. We ate just before 6:30 after Britt arrived. After a couple helpings B was off to feed and doctor her horses. S was off to watch baseball in the TV room and I worked on computer stuff. B was off after 8 and after the ball game we soaked in the "hot tub" before retiring. S watched sports while on phone then finally starting a book while I watched The Circle.

what is happening to my potatoes??
