A great sales day!

UGH I listened for dogs all night and got up to check a few times then at 2:45 sent them out separately to do their business. I eventually fell back asleep as a chinook wind picked up. They then slept till after 8 which was nice. After letting them out for a rip around it was breakfast and a nap while I did some marketing. Britt had the colic surgery last night that did not end till after 1 am. She got home slept a few hours and was back to work by 8. Good thing Cooper had a sleepover.

I let the dogs out again at 10 when I went to fill kitty food and water and let them out. In the garage a painted the nightstand another cream coat and did the stenciling on the dresser drawers. I did stop and bring the dogs in to nap again.

At 1 I stopped for a tuna sandwich and let the pups out to play. It is overcast but plus 2 out so doable. I contacted the jewelry buyer to offer sending to town only to have her reply they had a death in the family and wondered if my neighbor might take to her work where her neighbor worked and could bring to her as she needed for Christmas. I text my neighbor and she said sure I am just running to town I will be there in 10. HOLY COW.. I had yet to use the sticky paper to clean the inside so rapidly did that, found a box and bubble wrap, added the sticker and care sheet and got it all boxed up just in time to get it out to her at 1:30. WHEW!

Then back out to the garage where I put a clear coat on the dresser top and touched up the sides then wallpaper the nightstand. I measured and cut for the back , wet it and went to put it on only to find it was short.. WTH?? Luckily I had the drawer to do so recut it to fit it and cut a new one for the back. Once all on and drying I flipped the nightstand over on soft sheet and hammered the backing on. The drawer runners were waxed and it is all done except the dark wax.

I was hauling the dresser inside myself as to impatient to wait and had issues with the darn weighted drawer. Setting the dresser on a corner was a bad idea but only option so sure enough once I got it in I had to repair the corner and wait and touch up ;( The knob screws were too long and I do not have small washers to help which is ok as I am not a fan of that fix.

A gal arrived before 3 to pick up the big paint package I purged. A quick paint chat and she was off. I hauled in the drawers hoping to stage for shots with the longer screws and figure a solution after. My missing in action paint parcel was delivered as I was putting another clear coat on the dresser top. Then it was onto the computer to post my items for sale on many more sites.

The wind started to howl around 5 so the dogs and I went out to put the kitties away for the night, brrr. They did not even stay out but rather inside to nap. I ate my left over supper and back to computer trying to market my wares. B stopped just before 7 to pick up Cooper. She is going home to eat and go to bed after her long day. She did pick up our skincare parcel at the mailbox so it did not freeze on her way by.

I continued to work on tutorials and blog and had a fellow message me for a growth ruler. Seeing I only had the one left I had fingers crossed that it would work. He said he thought it would be fine as he has 3 girls who love that color. I arranged to have pick up at the candy store tomorrow!! Fingers crossed!

Then I had a fellow message me if I would lower price or deliver the navy end table. I let him know it was my biz and with covid lock down I was not making trips to the city and once he found out it was a fresh relove he sent full payment and arranged to pick up tomorrow :) It was a good night for online sales. I then headed to bed to finish season 2 of Virgin river.
