Jenny Craig fat pen in operation

Cooper was put in his kennel at 7:05. B slept later yesterday missing his day care day so brought him today. I let him out at 8 and when I took Lola out sans leash at 8:30, they were off. No recall whatsoever lol I got the ranger out of the shop, headed over to Marvins and escorted them home to the deck for the rest of the morning. Friday started out cool and a bit cloudy. Perfect day to mow the paddock behind the shop as Sheldon swathed the closest paddock. The gauge was checked and we got half a tenth overnight. The paddock I mowed looked like lawn once complete.

super thick in this area, could used the swather ;)

Prince also cut our ditch by the highway along the trees

I made homemade pizza for lunch which was I think the best ever. Fresh mushrooms and the fresh dill were a great addition. The sun popped out after lunch making for a beautiful day. Our next project was to drain, clean and move the far water trough to position between the two paddocks. Lola and Cooper came along for this chore.

everyone has to inspect

Lola really wanted the gopher out, Pepper thought he might see it too down that hole

all done and passed inspection from our helper Switch

The trough was then filled as I sorted the horses into 2 pens; Switch and KD went in the small shop paddock and Bird and Pepper the middle one. S checked the swaths left and went quick to rake them yet again. Pressure washing the fireball and ranger were next on his list while I used a shedding blade on 2 dirty horse blankets. He then pressure washed them and we hung them to dry.

Now off to make a couple bales from the remaining swaths. I did some marketing/accounting then headed out to water the now dry pots and garden beds. S was cruising in the spiffy ranger looking for gophers and putting road markers up. Supper was cooked all on the barbeque and enjoyed on the deck. What a beauty day!

B arrived as we were finishing up. She fed bird then she and I put fly sheets on the chubby girls seeing they have no bug shelter then we trimmed Bird's feet while S supervised.

storm is a coming but it ends with half a tenth and a rainbow

Once B and Cooper set off for home it was time for a shower, fresh sheets and finishing The Informer with a cold beverage. We also started a new series called Stateless which is kinda odd on episode 1 but will keep going.
