After a quick chat planning to ride once she was done I headed in and put the nightstand new hardware on and oiled the wood. Once I hauled it downstairs I think it needs painting as the stain is that orangey color. ;(
Seeing she had moved to the far paddock and the post office closes early now I made a quick trip to town. First stop was to pick up a new mop system and scraper blades, drop off a faux tile giveaway on the winners step then drop the parcel. Last stop was to pick up a paint project Craig brought back from Oyen for me along with a bottle of pink Whitney I heard good things about and give Ada her birthday gift.
It was a short but sweet stop before getting back to the ranch at 3. B was riding Pepper and ponying KD then took them both to the round pen as full of spice before cooling them out and putting back in their paddock.
We did a quick photo shoot of the new chaps before we set out for our ride. The day had been overcast and blustery but the sun did peek out making our ride a bit nicer but they are forecasting well needed rain for next few days so we wanted to get a ride in.
We finished up about 4:30 then B fed the B's then was off for home. I whipped up new magic spray and made a tuna sandwich for supper and did some computer work. The magic golden hour turned beautiful and seeing there may be rain I went out and scooped the poop out of the closest paddock and dumped it and the wheelbarrow full at the pit.
Two wood spools were picked up by a neighbor after 8 with a short visit. Britt and Dave pulled in to drop off planters, wired edging and the saw they borrowed as she was leaving. B also brought apples to the horses. A quick visit and they were off too. I watched a few more Outer Banks to end my lovely day.
