Quick town run

There was a good inch of snow on the level decks this am after we got motivated by coffee and headed out to feed the horses at 10. S tossed hay while I doctored horses and put the salt bucket back out now the snow stopped. We then jumped in the truck and ran to town for a few errands. Groceries were the first quick stop to score a turkey, milk and few other essentials. Next fuel the truck up, I ran into Rona for a new drawer guide for the dresser and to mail my Etsy parcel. S waited at the florist door to grab a gorgeous bouquet from Mama and Papa K. On route home we drove thru A& W to grab a burger then dropped off trash and grabbed mail.

Back at the ranch in just over an hour, groceries were put away and burgers chowed down with a beer. S hit big brown to scrabble and read news as I did a bit of marketing. I helped him learn how to hard boil eggs, make dye and he dipped 9 eggs. Britt and Cooper stopped out around 1:30 to give Bird meds, check and dr Bandits eye, scrub up & treat Roo then feed Bird before heading back to town an hour later.

I ventured out to sand, scrub and paint the dining table base. S went to sweep the barn and mez. The wind is horrid even though the sun came out after lunch. It hit a high of zero ;(. We met back inside for a beer at 4:30. S fried up the leftover spaghetti for supper and I made a pumpkin pie then while it cooked added videos I forgot to yesterday's blog post. I ran out loaded and tossed hay to the horses and did B's eye. After a soak in the tub we made popcorn with a side of rum and coke and watched Game Night.
