Back to Moore's

Gorgeous sunny day.. temperature was -8 to start but sun makes it all feel so much better. After our coffee S tossed hay and I did marketing quick before hauling in the dining table once he was back in to help with the top. I put it together and staged it while he ran to town for wood for the wall on south side of the shop.

He was back before 1 to join me for a turkey lunch. It was then time to catch horses and haul to Moore's to get Bandit scoped. Seeing the trailer was going Roo would come along as well to check her face. S caught Bandit while I gave Bird her meds and got in my daily steps catching Miss Roo. Once onboard we were on the road after 2.

The scope went well with his pouches looking awesome and no concerns. His eye has been diagnosed as Horner's disease. This is when the muscles/nerve has been injured and atrophy allowing the eye to sink in. Dr Jordan did acupuncture along with tens treatment that only he would put up with without sedation. Roo was looked at and considered no concern, let it run its course.

S relaxed outside in the sunshine while we spent the hour inside. Once loaded back up we zipped thru Tim's to grab a chai tea and donut treat for the ride home. Again we brought sans lid and transferred into the go mugs I brought along. Worked awesome. Back at the ranch the critters were released after I gave bandit his pill for the day.

Seeing we were full from tea and treats we had a later supper of turkey leftovers again. Britt and Cooper stopped out around 6:30 to do their things then headed home within the hour. I was updating the blog after supper and found another Etsy sale. This time it is the navy chest.

Today Dave borrowed a nail gun from another friend and worked on the bedroom feature wall. But it seems his guesstimate for wood lengths needed was off a bit ;)

After a relaxing evening S tossed hay and we finished Molly's Game. Next up was The Biggest Little Farm. This is a very good inspiring watch.

It has been 1 month since the quarantine started, can you believe that?
