Tiles and pegboard

It was a cool overcast start to the day, perfect for coffee in bed. Some even stayed in bed till after 11 am. Others did computer work. I then was off to the garage to put another coat of poly on the table top, clear wax the base and apron and start colors on the tiles.

Once out of bed, S relaxed before making lunch of scrambled eggs, toast and beans for lunch for me at noon. Thanks, I was then back to dark waxing the table base. He went out to the shop at 1 to hang a peg board and attempt to get his side organized.

The tiles were waxed &/or glazed, progress. I did make the trek to the far paddock in the blustery wind to give the horses supplements in the plus 8 weather. A bit of rain dropped now and then but not much.

S was back in around 4 and we watched the Belmont Stakes at 5. I called the winner, did you see the poor jockey who got pitched? I even won $5 off B betting. We ate left over roast beef supper then S was in big brown and I got marketing.

I put the sofa table and vanity set on sale for long w/e. Channelling all buyers!! I did have an interested buyer but shipping the vanity to Grande Prairie was $340!! sheesh. The table top got its last coat of poly and the tiles were waxed and buffed. We rounded out the dreary day with Saturday Night Live.
