Projects headed home

The fishing village fog was once again socked in when we awoke and hung around most of the day. After some marketing I was off to the garage to get the custom bookcase/ cabinet staged for a few pics and the gate leg table moved closer to the door. S assisted me with moving both as he headed out in the late morning to start laying his cable in the trench.

Of course after a few touch ups on the cabinet top I ended up stripping the wax, repainting and coating with wax again ;) The black stained cabinet had the edge stained too. I started painting a little S&P set a fun beach glass color I have not used in a long time.

In for late lunch, S made us soup and tuna sandwich before he napped to rejuvenate to head back out in the now misty cool day. The gate leg table customers messaged they had heavy snow in Edmonton so were delayed arriving at 3 to get their table. Once loaded they were off to Banff where probably more snow would greet them.

The S&P got another coat and a cute little jewelry box was cleaned up and given two coats of the same color and I painted a frame in it too.

S headed out to continue trench work including tamping the filled trenches with his skid steer wheels ;)

seems we have a healthy mushroom crop at the pit

wow nice and tidy by the shop doors

The cabinet was picked after 5 and soon after we hauled the stained cabinet inside. There is now room again to store the fireball in its spot but S was back inside starting a fire in the fireplace as so chilly. Before I cooked us up a late supper, I waxed the jewelry box and S&P and dark waxed too. Shaina and Jacob arrived around 9 after she trained Sharon to eat the rest and visit.
