first furniture delivery not so successful

We awoke to heavy fog! After coffee S was off to town to pick up a small trencher to dig in his coax cable to the shop. I did a bit of marketing before heading out to the garage to start the custom book case. It was repaired, scrubbed and painted a coat of coal black. The fog burned off just after he was back with the trencher mid morning.

We stopped a quick bite to eat, S was done trenching and he ran the trencher back to town and I wrote a blog post for the antique black chair then went out and finished the bookcase. I added the black wax and clear waxed the inside to freshen it up then brad nailed the back on more secure.

The table buyer wanted the tables delivered and once the EMT arrived we loaded them up and headed to Airdrie. We also loaded Britt's huge photo, barbecue, chair and 2 pepper grinders that sold and will be picked up there Monday.

We dropped off the tables and headed to Mr Mike's for a steak supper then stopped at Britt's. The place looks really nice and Dad approved.

After a visit we were off home, on the way I got a message from the table gal saying she changed her mind, pardon me? After many messages back and forth she is going to think on it overnight and get back to me. Of course the lesson learned is when delivering be sure to have the customers go over a piece and decide then and there it is the one they want ;)

Back at home we watched another Peaky Blinders episode. I am not sure how I feel about this series. Anyone else watch it?
