yet another scorcher

Today is yet another hot one on the way. Britt spent her usual Monday night in the city so Cooper woke me to go out at 7 and after laying there for a bit I just got up and made coffee. Marketing and accounting had me busy before I headed out to start back on the 3 drawer dresser I had been working on awhile back. It was wiped and painted the first coat of white.

I finished up as Britt raced home before noon to change and head to her back xray appointment slated for 12. Dave followed behind her and soon they were off. They detoured to Costco after it and were back here by 3, dropped Costco off and Dave was off back to the city. B hit her room and Netflix.

I headed outside in the afternoon to water planters as it was 28 and climbing. Of course my OCD had me picking dandelions for the horses too. I had to take the quad twice today to send the dogs home who felt the need to go to the winery and bark at the pickers. I finished writing the teal stool blog post and got it published and posted in a few places. I don't think I shared the antique secretary desk blog post I published Friday. The dresser got a second coat of white seeing it dried so fast in the 28 garage and 30 outside. ;/

Off to town around 330 the temperature was now 32!! A quick stop at the dump, mail box where I had 2 parcels including new hardware for the dresser I was painting today and fill with fuel before getting to my first appointment at 4. A lovely manicure and pedicure was enjoyed, thanks to Mama and Papa K for the gift certificate.

Before heading to my eyelash appointment at 5:30 I quickly grabbed Chinese food and ate a bit. I left it in the oven AKA the truck during my appointment and sure enough it was still hot when I got back out hour and half later ;) I quickly grabbed a prescription and fruit and jetted home to finish eating my supper.

Britt had gone to baseball, whew what a hot night to play. I stayed busy setting up an account on another new sales site called Local Strong, similar to Etsy. Will see how it fares but need to keep all sales options open. I opened the hardware parcel and painted the handles a coat of white, sure enough my pedicure got painted but it all washed off ;)

but I got it all off
