last of the small squares

B was off to work early and after coffee we decided to get out and get the last of the small bales finished early before the heat comes. We were out after 9 and had 15 bales moved up to mez, made a few more out of the blown up couple he gathered from the field and I put in barn, picked 10 more out of the field and sent them up to the mez. 2 trucks came and loaded 10 and 4 bales which cleaned the fields all off. Small squares are done and dusted.

Time to put machinery in the shop and get things buttoned down and I headed back in to vacuum the hay from inside the house before staging the antique table. While I had it all stretched out I gave it another coat of hemp oil too.

A quick bite of lunch and the news and a brief rest and the prince was off to the city to do an errand before getting to the airport. It is another scorcher and the poor grass is burning up. I took the quad to the gates and shut them all then let the wild mustangs out in the winter pasture.

forgot to share this video from Saturday on how to unstack the bales :)

I spent most of the afternoon inside trying to market my wares but did head out after super to warm up LOL. I had pizza ready for B who was home at 7 then she showered and hit her bed to watch Netflix but after 10 headed to the city. Outside now that it was 26 was beautiful. I had watered my beds this am but now needed to water the planters and the garden. This heat is sucking them all dry fast.
