city shopping

S was off early to catch a plane north. I was up after 8 visiting with Candace and making coffee. Grama and Papa joined us later then finally B. We visited before heading to the city about quarter to 11 to meet the other 2 girls for lunch. The skies got dark and a bit blustery but for the most part it was a nice 25 day. We sat on Joey's patio for lunch even. Thanks Papa and Grandma for taking us all for lunch. XOXO

Grama & Papa were off to an appointment, then K & S headed back home as S works at 3. B, Candace and I shopped the mall for an hour or so. While checking out Chanel perfume at Saks 5th Avenue we managed to drop a full bottle of Chanel gardenia, oh my goodness but we smelled good at least. We met Grama and Papa around 3 and headed back to the ranch for some apple crisp and a beverage. They were then off to the Hat by 5.

I tossed a bale and caught up on some computer work. B was headed back to the city at 6 to meet a fellow for supper. I did a bit of yard work then put Hawk & Pepper in the small pen east of the house and Bird and Roo in the round pen. Both sets escaped me and required lots of extra footsteps on my part. But they did get an hour and a half of lawn mowing done before I headed back out at 9 to put them back. I finished writing the armoire blog post and published it then loaded it on all the sale sites.
I was watching Call the Midwife when B got back around 10:30.
