S was off to the airport at 4:15. I was up early around 7:30 when he text his flight was delayed. Yep the snow was socked in., He did not end up flying till 9:30 am but managed to watch some movies to pass the time ;)
I got to work on the table adding another coat, this time in black then another white to the base.
My massage was moved to noon after a few cancelled so I headed in. The driveway was blown in yet mucky under as it hovers around zero.
After my massage I dropped off some mail, picked up stools I recently bought at Amanda's and grabbed a burger for lunch and made my way home. The snow was lightening up and gone by 3. It reached 4 so the melting mush continues.
Back to work on the table adding a 3rd coat of white, distressed and sanded when dry. I shall set it aside now for a day to dry before dark waxing. With the skiff left in the paint can I painted a frame and the base we cut for it to make a tray.
Once I had everything tidied up I got started on the 3 boho stools adding the azure color.
Back inside it is marketing, the kids desk blog post went live. There has been quite a few messages asking about the hutch but no confirmed buyers. I did however have an Etsy sale for the little brown shelf. I got a box all made up for it and measured up ready to get a label on it. The lady sent me a message
Hi Lee Ann, I've been looking for just the right piece and this is it! Our beloved dog died recently and this shelf will hang at the back door with Dublin's collar, leash and a pic or two on the shelf. Just wanted you to know how special this will be for us. However the quoted shipping was not enough so contacted her in regards to cancelling order or paying the difference. I sanded the stools and hauled them in, another custom order complete!
