B & S sleepover

My morning was spent mostly on accounting but I did head out to add the first coat of tough coat to the dining table top. It is going to look awesome.

I scrubbed up a huge frame to paint the "print" in chalk paint for a large chalkboard. Searching thru my frame stash I found another that would be cute in chalk so scrubbed it up as well as the hardboard backing we cute for the vintage window frame. Once the framed print was taped, the first coat of chalkboard paint went on all.

A email came saying I had a parcel at the gate. Being plus 7, Lola and I walked to get it stopping to toss hay to the horses and redirect the ruts of water along the road or crossing the drive at the frozen culvert.

hard to see but that is water above just an inch below the top of the snow level and below on the other side of the road, the snow is above my knee!!

Just like when a kid, you redirect mud puddles

Another coat of tough coat on the table and chalkboard paint on the boards. Once dry I covered the table and will leave it to cure for the week till she picks it up next week.

Another project got started, the bench we cut the heart ends off. CRAZY but I chose another green color, I am not even a huge green fan but look at all the green I have been doing lately. I finished up the first coat before coming in to put supper on.

B and Cooper arrived before 6:30. He was off playing while she unloaded loads of her bedroom stuff back home and into her one here. Then she was off to town before 7 to run errands. I went out and painted a 2nd coat finally getting Cooper in to warm up and dry off before she got back around 8. I worked on posts while she flitted around unpacking. Shaina rolled in before midnight to stay the night.
