Painting Sunday

Back to the garage to paint today. I spent most of the morning glazing the grey coffee table. I do not like glaze as it is not OCD friendly so had a few wipe down and repaint areas but finally got the base done. I pondered the top whether to stencil or put a new transfer on it but decided to keep the ornate base the focus so chose to try and stain it black over the grey. The first coat is not to my liking as it looks like glaze too but the shades are different.

above no like, repaint.. below dry wipe.. like

The custom dresser had the hardware scrubbed and put back on, the drawer were sanded on the bottom edges and them and the drawer glides waxed to make them smoother. I also added a bit more of another color dark wax then covered it to dry more to seal the top and be done.

I repaired the dings in the dresser and did some sanding but this pine just looks to damaged so not sure I will proceed with doing it for sale but I did paint a coat of the planned navy on it and will see.
