Custom dresser nearly complete

The snow fell lightly all day and overcast so perfect for getting to work on the custom dresser. Today I put a coat of gel stain on the top, two coats on the base then sanded, distressed and dark waxed it. Now I just need to wait about 72 hours of 3 days for the top to dry.. maybe not as long since over top of existing but will see then apply a clear coat and scrub the hardware and it is done.

The white stained growth ruler was sanded and another coat put on. I plan on using the new stencils I received for a super cheat to my usual hand painting.

In between coats I did marketing putting quite a few things on sale and had to update all the sale sites like FB, Etsy, Kijiji and market place. I had some interest on the pink dresser but both fellows fell thru ;(

I also worked on the bread box doing some dry brushing of the dark grey then adding black wax. Staging and writing a for sale post on Etsy was the first step to sell it too.

After a bite to eat I headed back out to start more projects. I scrubbed the pine dresser as well as a long coffee table. Then it was time to paint the coffee table. I went with grey .. and contemplated a black top but went grey on the top too.

Inside just after 9 to write the bread box blog post and get it published, Netflix (Grey's Anatomy) by my side. Kaylin sent me this pic last night of these 2 stinky buddies ... awe
