And just like that it was time to head back to the rooms, stuff your bags full, forget a thing or two and meet at the lobby to catch a bus to the airport ;(
But FINALLY we got 2 pictures of EVERYONE at the same spot!!
What a fabulous family vacation celebrating a fabulous couple!! XOXO
The bus ride to the airport where they like to get you there good and early, so you can spend a small fortune in their airport. ;)
Then the 5 1/2 hour flight back to the frozen tundra. S and I managed to watch 3 full movies together on my iPad and I a couple of Nashville episodes while he napped. Arriving in Calgary found it very brisk with a wind chill but we got thru customs, baggage, goodbyes and to the warm car (thanks Delta concierge) with B coming home with us arriving back home by 11 pm. The other 2 had friends pick them up saving us running them home but once they got home K went to pick up Lexi in Chestemere. B had to run her car a bit in the frigid cold before setting off to town to get gas before heading back to the city. Poor B was the only one of the 15 that had to be at work the next day by 6:30. (K not till 1:30 and S at 4 and no one else in the big group) But the week in the sunshine paradise was well worth it, right girls? :)
