The rain started just after 2 am and landing not far from our head on an aluminum roof made it sound louder I am sure. There also was huge bouts of wind as Britt messaged was the warning last night. I did not sleep more then a few minutes at a time. There was a few trains thru the night that blew their horns and passed by close so needless to say I was tired. I was however up and outside at 7 as the umpires were trying to figure which one was Pepper. He was on back to back 8 & 9 games. the girls play at 10:30. Shaina was on her way after staying home last night. Britt and I had them fed then started getting ready. Snow had his borrowed horse Special all ready but the saddle which we switched off Pepper after umping.

Shaina made it and they were ready for their 10:30 game. Max drove up to see the sport bringing us all Tim's thanks! The sky was overcast and a bit threatening. Krystalle and family drove up too to watch for the day and hung with us. The first game had a few curves, the biggest being snowy snapping a stirrup leather, hanging off the horses neck all the way to the sidelines. They ended up losing darn it but had a great 2nd chukka coming together as a team.

Visiting in the now sun filled day, Brad joined us too. Their next game at 1:30 was good but again a loss. This was the winning USA team so knew it would be though to beat.
It was now time to kickback and relax once the games were over and horses all tended too.
Max headed back about 3 and Brad visited till about 4 leaving Shaina to nap on the ground in her sleeping bag while Snowy & Hannah went to find cash and booze. Britt and I were keen to hit the banquet at 6 being close to first in line. they also had free drinks and snacks and an ok meal. The evening was filled with visiting, flip cup, dancing and hanging around the campfire but only till at midnight when Snow and I put out the fire. The girls and I got our sleeping order set and all were off to sleep.
