Britt did get to play the 1 finally for the final game at 1 but unfortunately they lost it as well. Darn the luck, they did play well but if they had even had some practice together a few times prior and if the umping was not so lopsided they would have surely done better. For Shaina it was her first and her last tournament of the year.
I had most everything cleaned up and sorted after the final game while the girls hosed and put horses in the pen. We stayed for the presentations at 3:30 and had horses loaded up and said our good byes after 4.
Shaina was off to the city to catch a plane to Kelowna to boat with friends. I dropped Britt back at her car at work after she napped the whole way there and then was back home by 6. I unloaded horses, tossed a bale and put them in the paddocks.
Lex loaded right in when I opened the door ;) she loves a road trip, sorry Lex, maybe another day
Britt drug herself out to help me unload stuff before she hit the tub for a soak. I got the whites soaking in their bucket and the wraps soaking in the garage laundry. I had ordered Chinese at K's request and she kindly grabbed on way home arriving a quarter to 8. I woke up B sleeping on the coach to eat then she was off to bed. I hit a tub to soak before bed then Kaylin fixed up up with facial masks while we relaxed.
Today is Lola\s 3rd birthday, Happy dog bone day little miss!
