July 15 already

Britt got home late for a work night just before 2 am, I was awake at 6 to see if the girls were awake. B was happy I had coffee set to brew for her drive to work @6:45 as was Kaylin. I was up to find peanut butter for her toast and see her off at 7. The morning was sunny already but I did manage to get back to sleep before coffee was served in bed before 9.

I served a hot cup to Miss Shaina after 10 to roust her for the day. Sheldon was off to town to put the fireball in the local car show for the day. I headed out to fill far water trough and add kelp to the shelters then watered my flowers/garden and picked luscious dandelion feast for the horses. Once up Shaina ran to town to pick up Sheldon who changed the oil in her jeep while she and I rode.

 I transferred the words to the wedding gift sign and started painting and printed out the home plate sign to confirm style and layout

The weather was now cloudy and windy and as per Sheldon's observation it did rain on us a wee bit as we rode. She headed in to shower for work at 2 which was cancelled not long after. I fed the horses their supplements and hosed them and mixed up the pens again. Since she did not have to work, Shaina made guacamole and we had a beer before she drove Sheldon back to town for the rest of the car show and she headed back to the city to meet Kaylin after work for the evening.

I finished the hand painting on the sign I started this am. It was sanded and waxed then a hanger added to the back. All ready to go and finished fast like she needed.

Time to start painting the antique dresser. I went with classic black and got the first coat on everything but the top.

Sheldon arrived back home with groceries about 6:30. He ate while I waited for Britt who was not home till about an hour later. She was then off to her room to study. Sheldon finally gave the barbecue a cleaning.. shop vacced, sprayed with soap and a gave a good power spray. It had never been cleaned since new so really needed it. Tash and Curtis and the kids arrived around 8 to drop off the first of the bedroom suite they are having done for the girls room. We enjoyed a visit on the deck on such a beauty evening for a couple hours then Tash took the kids home.

Sheldon and Curtis moved to the fire pit while I stained the top of the dresser its first coat and did some repairs. Remade our bed with freshly washed linen and crawled in with some Netflix. Sheldon and Curtis shut is down about 12:30.
