new jumbo tree planted

B was back to work today with coffee for us following a couple hours after she left ;) The sideboard was given yet one more coat of the natural stain and oil sealer and hopefully it is the last one. Sheldon hooked up the dump trailer to pick up a big tree and got maintenance done on it before running to pick up the new jumbo tree.

I stayed back waiting for the gal to pick up her sofa table. She was just visiting when Sheldon rolled in with the tree.

It was then tree planting time. Luckily we had the hole from the one we pulled out basically the right size so just fine tuned. I was the skid steer operator to unload and place. After some fine tuning we filled the edges, watered it in well and taaadaa!

All that hard work had him napping on the couch after a late lunch at 3. I worked on updating my page with the pics I took of the spray painted projects.

There was a burst of energy for S around 5 when he headed out to move the water I had been putting tree to tree. I had seen birds coming in and out of an eve area so her got a ladder and checked it out to find this stuffed all in the soffit!

I planted more garden seeds in the blustery cool temperatures that seem to be dropping. They say snow may be on its way tonight. Time to move my planters back in ;( We enjoyed a family steak supper after 7 when Britt was home, so yummy even if the day is not really barbecue weather, thanks Prince for cooking it.
