St Paddy's shopping, date and market

This weather is crazy. Overcast and -2 left the ground frosty and cold looking upon waking. Let's see what happens with the rest of the day. I scrubbed up 3 wooden small pieces to paint then I put the antique chair back together and brought in to stage. What do you think of the deconstructed look? I think it is neat and unusual so will post it like this and see if any one else thinks so.

I put another coat of poly on the round table and wrote up the blog post for it.

I was on the road to the city at 2. First stop was my favorite store.. Homesense. And I managed to find the trash can I needed and a few other things.. and $50 was paid by Aeroplan!!

A couple more stops at Rona for supplies and some thrift stores. I was to meet a friend at 4 at her work place. She scored me an antique desk from Olds and brought to Calgary. Crazy though she was going to check out Value Village so just met me there.

Next stop was to meet my date, Shaina at Earls for supper before heading to the Curated market. The market itself was smaller then I thought and we managed to get thru it in an hour. Shaina got a couple cute pairs of earrings and I a couple lip balms from the place I won the tickets from.

She was off to visit Emily and I headed home taking my route thru Chestermere to grab a tea for the ride home. Once back home, I caught up on a few emails then watched many more episodes of Switched At Birth.
