new and old...any ideas how to clean old?
this is same color on different woods.. go figure
loving this chippy look
this is just a load I got the other day from the take it or leave it.. 3 new cans of poly $25 each, a new primer and 2 new paint colors, all full and in perfect shape!
the high chair got a sanding to reveal the chippy milk paint
but the white was too stark and boring so a teal wash was added
I am still working on how to paint a piece to look so old, this heavy chippy look takes time to become a natural thing when painting to make new is in my head
Britt spent the day doing homework. Sheldon went out after lunch and installed the old yard gate on the far paddock. He also "skinned" his soaking skull.. not pictures for that stinky process!
Inspector Pepper checking to see if Sheldon may have left it open ;)
My sleigh bed folks stopped just before 6 to pick it up while I helped load Britt caught Switch and Bird.
We enjoyed a lovely ride then let them graze for a bit. Perfect time to give Switch a feel for hobbles. And tonight no boots for the conditioning ride!! Yeah!
Baseball filled the early afternoon followed by the battle of Alberta rematch football game, it had Sheldon's undivided attention. Even when cooking smokies too. After supper Britt headed off for a sleepover at Amber's just as the bale fellow arrived for his first load.
