July 14, today would have been Grandma Walker's 100th birthday, happy cake day Grama!! We sure miss you.
Diego wanted out at 7, thanks D! I did some marketing catch up, polox preparation etc while waiting for Britt to get up. I showered and got dressed for a Stampede party but perhaps bad idea. When she did we headed out to dust all the horses with powder then I trimmed Pepper.Trying to stay clean I wore insulated coveralls and ended up sweating during the trim! ;)

Oh well, time to put on the war paint and head out to meet Sheldon and Scott at the party. They held me a parking spot as I pulled in at 1. Although the there was a few sprinkles on the way in, the party was sunny and packed with food and fun. Casino money was used for tickets for prizes and low and behold, we walked away with a signed Flames jersey, on the down side it was of Sheldon's least favorite player Doug Hamilton!
I loaded up the party boy just after 4 and we were home just before 5. Britt had harrowed the arena and was soaking it down with a sprinkler system when I left but she text Bird was worse for being off. I changed quick and went out to try and see if there was any issues in her feet and tried to fine tune them up. She is looking like not being able to play this w/e though ;(
over 1 year and Sadie rolled over to 8000 km
After a wee rest, Sheldon came out in the sunshine too and did a run up the driveway pulling foxtail and bagging it up. Britt was off to Buffalo lake with friends about 5:30 to spend the night and tomorrow. S hit the couch and I trekked out to refill the mineral tubs. I also did a quick check of rain gauge and total from last night's dump was about 1 1/10" so day total was almost 1 1/2". Bath and rodeo/chucks tv time
