table finally getting closer to done

Tuesday, June 21 already, wow. 3 more days and the 2 girls come home ;) Someday I hope to spend a month in Bali but it will be during our winter. I got the dogs fed and left Baby out before the landscapers arrived. Today 2 came to site to finish up the fire pit area. They pulled in as Britt pulled out, heading to work, yep it seems she has a few shifts left this month :)

I have been chosen as another product blogger, this time for Old Fashioned Milk Paint so had to get an order in for projects. I then worked on the dining table painting the entire top brown as I thought I would.

 I liked this area.. but one half would NOT look the same no matter what I did so all brown it was

The table edges then got scrubbed and all left to dry as I ran to town for my noon acupuncture appointment. Of course she found all the sore spots and more! I grabbed a healthy lunch at Back to Good and a not so healthy ice cap (thanks to the Paetz's gift card!!) did a quick deposit for the polox club and grabbed some new hair clips then booked it home.

I got back to the table, this time adding the wet brushing brown to the entire base. It is now something I am happy with but still more steps to go. The sunny 24 turned dark and threatening around 3 but only blew dirt and 10 sprinkles as it passed thru. Britt was home from work but headed down to her comfy bed to watch Netflix with storm scared Coco. The workers were off by 5. Sheldon since driving alone this week made a stop at Costco after work to restock us.

As Britt headed off to ball, I called in the horses to give KD her pills and spray Switch, let them eat a bit in the shop area sans the 2 fat girls and worked on the table some more finishing under the table area then putting first coat of poly on. I put the others back out and the 2 fat girls in the diet pen as a few rain drops fell and the wind blew again. It was soon over as Sheldon pulled in at 6:30 with a car load. I cooked the seafood stuffed salmon and some saffron rice while he stuffed items in the freezer. The meal was SOOOOOO good esp washed down with a frosty beer and clam with a fresh lime!

Britt hit OJ's after ball getting home about 11, of course Prince was long asleep and I was watching Netflix.
