patio and practice

Back to work early for Sheldon followed by me at 8. I was outside putting pylons on the grass to detour the landscaper and pruning and plucking. He arrived after 9 and got started after our morning meeting, today's project the sandstone patio.

I worked the the dreaded dining table top which crackled again even after the primer so sanded down and primed even more. The coffee table got yet another coat of paint but it to is being finicky and wee touch ups and finagling.. some days I wonder why I do this. I did put a coat of little stork (purple) on a simple frame.

I rousted Britt at noon then again at 1 after my meeting with boss lady landscaper. Connie and Renee were to arrive at 2 for practice. I trimmed Switch front feet just before they did. The next 3 hours were spent practicing and chatting and Britt went from zero to 200 over this time, in the end stoked to play this w/e.

Sheldon arrived home as we were finishing, having picked up the new jerseys too. Britt now hurriedly got ready to get to Justin Beiber concert. I whipped up supper and she shoveled some in before Jayden stopped and off they went. This left Sheldon and I to get 4 horses caught loaded and off to Murray's for chiro. We stopped for a blizzard at DQ on the way home ;)
