landscape planning underway

The day started sunny but then varied as it went on. Today was supposed to be landscape start but I was up and ready and finally got the email it would be later in the afternoon to meet and go thru the plan. I got busy working in the garage sorting items to toss and post and move to make room for the "fireball".

another cute bed set to create a bench.. someday so moved to mezzanine and look where pony is hidden.. good grief, my poor flower beds

I worked on the ruler ordered, filling holes and painting a 3rd coat. The table got sanded and another coat of shellac and milk paint. Once dry, I sanded and added another but the touch up to one side caused crackling and whole lot of WTH! The landscapers arrived at 2 to change the subject from paint disaster to pavers. We laid out the patio plan, laid out samples and met with the workers for a couple hours.

can you see the crackle? dam

Sheldon got home early today at 4:30 just ahead of a fellow picking up a coffee table I purged. He changed and got busy replacing 3 rails while I sanded and reprimed the 1/2 table top then fed Bird, sprayed Switch, helped with last rail and scooped dog crap. The day was blustery but did hot 25. We sure could use rain as things are drying fast . I was trimming trees when Matt arrived at 6 for the hockey game. While the boys watched it, I hand painted the numbers on the ruler and watched "the Good Wife"
