An email confirmed the paint has not been sent.. OMG. For sure time to move to next projects. Today started -12 and overcast and did not really warm up so another good day to keep on task. I waxed up the square chair and staged a few pics to post.I have a new color called Chesapeake blue from CeCe Caldwell's Paints. It reminded me of a vintage color and this vintage solid wood chair seemed the perfect choice to match it too. Funny how after scrubbing and sanding and painting it all pretty, I heavily sanded it to add yet another color to this already 5 layered chair and make it look old again wink emoticon The fresh new "old" look has been sealed with a couple coats of wax, again in keeping with the vintage look and feel. It comes with an optional tie on cushion freshly laundered for a wee bit of padding and charm.
the cabinet had hardware removed, shelf brackets realigned, drawer liner removed/paint can flattened and made ready to paint. I have it in mind for another FFF contest for February so now have to wait for it as well to paint.
I also decided to use my new sugar plum color paint on the jewel box from Sharon so it got minor repairs done and will dry overnight.Tonight's viewing enjoyment was a couple Scandal episodes followed by 4 of Schitt's Creek which has been in the Oscar news. Not sure about it but will try a few more.
