trail ride and Craig's bday

Going to be a hot one, we got up and rousted Britt. Horses and snacks were loaded and out of the yard by 9:30 and it was already 26 degrees. Shaina met us in Bragg Creek where I found a new riding trail to try. It was another lovely ride thru our beautiful mountains. Shaina was a doll and grabbed us lunch to enjoy while on the trail, THANKS Dude!!

The 3 hour ride ended with an icy cold beverage and a water bucket cool down in the creek for the ponies. On the way home, we made a stop at lone star to restock on minerals/salt while Britt scored new wraps and reins. The paddocks are so dry and bald as a billiard table so once we got home we let all the ponies out in the winter pasture. Happy Ponies for sure!

Not long after unloading we changed clothes and were off to town to celebrate Craig's 32nd birthday. Britt was off to work right behind us. After a yummy supper and ice cream cake, the 30+ temps had us on our way home to the A/C after a quick stop at Canadian Tire for more oil change supplies. Sure loving the AC this year!
