1019 - custom table set well underway with always a few curves

Day 1019, what the heck is it with sleep in days and early wakeups, no dog barking or phone calls just wide awake at 7:30..geez!

coffee and marketing before bringing in the red coffee table, staging and posting for sale

Then it was moving on to starting on the custom work dropped off. This is the largest coffee table I have seen, wowza!
 they are apart shown here
Sanding down all the water damaged areas was the start then a good scrub before painting it beckley coal, the ribbed edges got a coat of red then a dry brush of black over then all pieces got wet distressed.

Of course life was made interesting by a curious cat who insisted on always being where I was rubbing and rolling around. It was fine until painting where he not only rubbed thru the red frame I was painting and got red paint in his fur but soon after as i swatted his away he lept over to rub on the freshly painted legs. I made a swat for him and he dumped a huge glass of ice tea everywhere. After this he decided it was safer to go nap under the stairs!
 Wreck it Ralph causing trouble
Britt went out in the -10 to clean out car and fill tires with air then made a few batches of cookies. Sharon stopped to check out my purple nightstand to put in a room she is going to do in grey and purple. She had a tea and cookies and a visit with Britt and I.
Just as she was leaving around 5:30, Shaina arrived home from her evening out. She made us pot stickers for supper even delivering my plate out to the garage where I was continuing working on the table set. I also distressed & waxed the peacock frame, painted and waxed a red one and painted a light pink one quickly as things were drying.
I continued waxing the small table and legs but found the water damage now showing thru even after buffing. Of course I kept buffing and adding and going crazy. Time for a cookie break and then back out to buff the small set of legs, distress the large, glaze the peacock frame, distress the pink frame and buff the small table top again clocking in almost 8 hours on it alone. No luck so I walked away for the night hoping for divine intervention on yet another learning curve for creative moments CEO!
