828 - Happy Birthday Sheldon

Day 828 was our long awaited sleep in day, however coyotes had other plans at 2 am and a rude fly at 5:45. We managed to get back to sleep after both and slept till 9 for me and 9:30 for birthday boy! I made him a special coffee and he enjoyed reading wishes and getting phone calls for his big day.

Sheldon fit in time to wash Diego's affected head area and spray it but as we drove to town we noticed he sprayed lots of the purple medicine spray all over his shirt.. at least it too was purple. When we got home we found the garage received alot of it too!

Shaina even got up to visit with us before we started the journey to Oyen 100 year homecoming. She is staying home this w/e to keep the place in order as well as work and run a marathon. We had a few stops in town to get rodeo tickets, subs to eat, volunteer passes from Grant then deliver to Gary then on the road by 1 pm.

We arrived in Oyen after dropping bags and Coco at Mom's around 4 with first stop at Dale's to see the house progress and visit. Steak supper at the ball diamonds, watching some of Craig's ball game then working the bar from 10-12 was the highlights of our day there. Stacie dropped us at Moms by 1:30 am
