Steaming, priming and movie

I was awake and out to garage by 8 AM to administer Harley's pills, feed her food, and clean her cheek, as well as to feed the cats. Next, I delivered coffee to the still-sleeping prince in bed. After a bit of social media browsing, I moved on to marketing tasks. Later, I worked in the shop, beginning with steaming out the scratches and dents from the top of the coffee table before leaving it to dry.

Harley alerted S, who was working on his laptop at the kitchen island, to an intruder. It turned out to be a well checker who had left the gate open. S addressed this oversight, ensuring the well checker updated our file to always close the gate, and then returned to browsing an online auction sale.

I progressed to sanding the dresser, applying wood filler, and then painting the first coat of grey primer. I was eager to test my new net sandpaper, and it was a success; it worked wonderfully, though I'll finish the rest later. S worked on his BBQ deck lights and even paused to cut a board for the missing dresser top.

B and Coop were out while we enjoyed our turkey soup for lunch. She tended to Roo's foot and took care of other equine needs. Back in my workshop, I applied more wood filler to areas on the dresser that needed attention after the first primer coat, and I completed sanding the coffee table top, which now looks lovely.

While applying a second coat of primer to the dresser, B asked me to help catch Switch, who had been coughing a lot since last night. I held her while B checked all her vitals, which appeared normal, but we will continue to monitor her. Afterward, B went home, and I returned to my painting.

S hung lights the apple trees before setting off to scout for deer, leaving Harley content with a bone to gnaw on. I completed the second coat and left it to dry overnight. In retrospect, I think bondo would have been better for the pedestal table's wood filler. After letting it dry, I went inside to work on tutorials. I crafted a Hometalk post for the rice papered wine basket while watching Outer Banks on my iPad.

S returned from his scouting around 5:30. We enjoyed BBQ ribs for supper with the news in the background. I delayed Harley's supper pills and cheek care until 7. S assisted me in packing up the school desk pieces before heading out to play hockey. I quickly finished my Spanish lesson and then watched Outer Banks in bed. S later joined me to watch the film 'My Old Ass.' We attempted more of 'The Lincoln Lawyer' but ended up feeling sleepy.
