China cabinet staged

After a typical morning, I did some marketing and then arranged the cabinet for some staged photos. S browsed the internet for all the Trump-related news. I then went to work on scraping paint off the magazine table after opening the yard gate for Harley's food delivery. S came out to sort the recyclables and bag the bottles, which was a big help. He then returned to his laptop to catch up on all the X news.

We transferred the remaining beef to the upright freezer and disconnected the previous one. I prepared bones for Harley's broth and placed a roast in the slow cooker for dinner. B came by around noon to feed her horses. During a lunch break from sanding, I practiced Spanish while savoring a bowl of chili. S had finished eating and was currently watching the news.

I looked out to see this character

Dinosaur story time as school and outdoor play

B headed home around 2, and I returned to work on the magazine table while S went to Matt's to work on the wiring. I spent another half hour scraping the edges and sanding, then applied the stain oil, although I'm uncertain about the new color. After rejecting several color choices, I painted the body. I'm not sure about the dark brown I chose, but I'll see how it looks when it's dry. After finishing up at 4, I came in for a cold drink and some Spanish practice, then proceeded to work on tutorials.

Darkness had fallen by 5 o'clock, and I'm not fond of this time zone. S returned just after 5:30 finishing an outlet, with only one remaining, and then, he says, it will be complete. We savored the slow-cooked roast for supper. I resumed working on tutorials, blog writing, and some accounting, while S settled in the TV room for hockey. The evening's turmoil involved setting up our Netflix account, only to discover we could join Britt's account as an additional user for much less. After a conversation with customer service, everything was resolved, and we returned to our Netflix viewing on the large screen. I wrapped up an excellent series Live to 100 - secrets of the blue zones. S came up and we started a movie called The Secret - Dare to Dream.
