Cleaning day

Today, we considered going for a ranger ride, but the day began overcast and chilly. Once S woke up around 9 and we started our coffee, we decided to skip it. He returned to bed for some relaxation, and I did some marketing. Later, we took advantage of the daytime warmth for a soak in the hot tub. By the time we finished, the sun had emerged. After a shower, I got the laundry going.

Wow, Kaylin's fiddle leaf has 4 new shoots!!

I donned the coveralls, released the horses, and harvested some carrots, leaving them out to dry. Britt arrived shortly after I returned indoors past noon. She fed Bird and quickly dragged the paddock blade across two paddocks, then left within an hour to join a company vet tech cart racing event, leaving Cooper with us. Meanwhile, S busied himself with cleaning his truck. I added a couple hunting photos on yesterday's post so go look at his views.

I began by organizing under my bathroom sink, which resulted in posting many items for donation, sending stuff to the thrift store, and setting aside new beauty products for the Christmas gift tree, ideal for teenagers. Our deep cleaning continued. With the day warming up to 17 degrees, I decided to head outside. I harvested more carrots, removed the tops, and fed them to the horses. S brought out a cold beer for us to savor on the front steps.

this is excess nail polish.. seems the girls had a few too

new products thanks to Sephora Kaylin

I cleared the last of the plants from the surviving planters and mulched the strawberries with straw. Once back inside, I washed the carrots and started on dinner.  I quickly took the assortment of new beauty products to the gate for a woman in a ranger, a handy unit to have on the ranch. We enjoyed the final HelloFresh meal, a delicious Moroccan chicken.

While we were dining, Britt stepped out just before 7 to return the horses to their paddocks and take Cooper home. S was, as usual, absorbed in his Flames game; however, their loss did not brighten his day. He did find places for the stuff he hauled in from his truck clean and says the truck has not been that clean since it was bought. During the game, I completed my Spanish lessons, then proceeded to write today's blog post and finish up yesterday's. While the next game played I folded laundry then moved to bed after making us each a bowl of popcorn to finish Chef's Table - noodles and moved on to BBQ. The second episode is amazing and when we go to Sydney we have to eat there. S watched a bit and was off to dreamland.
