B travels to Denver

We enjoyed our coffee in bed before S prepared for church. I went out to release the three horses, leaving the uncooperative Roo in the paddocks. This morning, my focus was on marketing, listing some new items on my online sales platforms, including Etsy. The transfer for the little antique table was successful, so I prepared it for pickup at the gate tomorrow morning. While down there, I also watered all of Shaina's plants.

Gaining traction for online businesses is crucial, achieved by attracting viewers to the platforms. Here are some of mine that I would appreciate you taking a look at.

Dave and Cooper were out to feed around 11:30. Exhausted from the late-night racing in Edmonton that finished just before midnight, followed by a three-hour drive home, he didn't get to bed until 4 am after taking a shower. Then, he was up again at 7 to drive Britt to the airport. Fortunately, the adrenalin from the 1000 wins kept him going. Afterward, he and Cooper returned home for a well-deserved nap.

Posting the autumn floral box on Etsy required a video so I had to dig it out of the storage boxes after the market and take one as well as find mailing box to weigh and such. If nothing else please check out the new Etsy listing and click heart if you can. Finally I got the videos and photos and yesterdays blog complete and posted.

S arrived home before 1 pm with lunch from Edo, an iced coffee, my favorite pumpkin spice muffin, some groceries, and truck parts. He even enjoyed his regular coffee after church with the Paetz's. I'm grateful for the lunch, big guy.

Renn normally does not fall asleep but today she drifted off while her and Daddy were watching TV

After lunch, I ventured out into the 20-degree sunshine to attempt putting Roo's mask on again, but with no success. Consequently, she was confined to the middle paddock, with the far gate and winter pasture left open for the others, although they didn't realize it was open. Meanwhile, S was in the shop working on the truck's brakes. I closed the back gates and attempted to close the yard gate hot wire, but it appears our lawn boy had run over it, necessitating a repair. I shoveled gravel into the bottle tree hole and watered my raised beds to encourage the last bit of growth. The forecast is 26 degrees tomorrow, then 27 on Wednesday, followed by a drop to 16 on Thursday.

Next, I carted a wagon full of moldy hay and plants to the pit, bringing an orange tub to collect dirt. I spent some time repositioning logs on the pile to clear the pit's west side, preparing for when the snow arrives. Back at the house, I used the dirt to fill in the sunken new tree holes and straightened them. B texted to say she arrived safely, and the taxi to her hotel cost $125 US!

S and I took a break for a cold beer on the deck while he searched online for brake information. He decided to exchange the brake pads he had purchased, so he removed one and prepared it for return. At 4 pm, we drove to town in my car to pick up the new ones. We also collected a coffee table from the moving couple who gave us the plastic shelves. On our way back, we stopped by Matt’s to retrieve the swather for S to bring home. I closed the winter pasture gates, rolled up the yard's hot wires, and turned them back on.

holy parsley!

I fed Harley and updated a spreadsheet while S was installing the new brake pads on the truck. Dave and Cooper came out to help with the feeding. I secured the horses in the paddocks and directed them to Dave, who placed Bird in the small barn paddock for eating. After distributing hay to all and feeding his horses, Dave had to leave for a locked truck issue at his boarding place. Once I completed my tasks, I released Bird. With S finishing up on the right side, I began preparing dinner, devising my own recipe. It featured fresh tomatoes, onions, and herbs, combined with garlic, rice, and fish. S found it exceptionally delicious and polished off the meal. I must say, it was indeed flavorful.

Dave was dying laughing at the old brake pad vs the new

I did some more yard work and computer tasks while S searched online for brake information and watched the football game. Meanwhile, I continued watching McLeod's Daughters on my iPad, nearing the end of the series. I packed up jars and such for Anita then chopped off my nails and did a new color before watching many informative YouTube videos in bed. Fiddle propagating, dahlia storage, sanding tips, and more
