Trailer purge progress and a crappy headache

I woke early with a Headache!!  I made coffee, played some brain games, then remembered I left planters out overnight when I went to feed H. Luckily they were fine. It looks like another beauty day ahead. I planted more peas in the missing spots while waiting for a lady to arrive at 9 to get the clear dishes and ice cube trays. She moved her from China a few months ago and speaks perfect English. S went over to Matt’s to power test the drill he wired yesterday.

Another couple stopped for a toaster, cutlery, glasses and dishes. I continued my sorting and arranging. Once S was back from Matt’s, we loaded up all the kitchen boxes, our old very expensive Water-matic vacuum, thrift store box from last week and a pile of take it or leave it stuff along with Harley and set off for town. The stuff was dropped at the thrift store then the take it or leave it including recyclables we brought along as well. That feels very good to get this amount given away. A stop at UFA to grab trailer roof sealer was next.

A iced coffee was picked up hoping to help the headache that still persists. Next stop was to tape the broke siding at the rental. The missing piece was stuck back in which helped. Orange tape will seal the cracks for now.

This little princess went to the zoo today. It was a very busy hot adventure but enjoyed by all.

Cooper was picked up next and B’s planter and Mandevilla dropped off. We headed back to the ranch to eat leftovers for lunch. S had his fave tacos and I my other half of Vietnamese. S had a zoom meeting at 1 so I headed out water garden but pump did not work. It was a hot 25 out. The wind had picked up now so I passed on scooping poop in the horse paddock till later. It was back to the trailer to work on more boxes. One was a garden box where I found a sweet fairy but his wing was broke in storage.

S was out to help me at 2:30. He ran all bed frames to the gate for pickup tonight. Then got the pump going so I could water the raised garden and planters. Inside I washed toys and sorted thru clothes So many memories!! S looped around for gophers then scooped poop that he forgot in front of the middle shelter and dumped it along with the wheelbarrow I had collected yesterday morning. We had a beverage on the deck but the wind was such a bugger.

here is the table combo, think it should work great. Now there to put it.

Time to tidy the shop area. We moved wood, implements and the fuel tank to make the area in front of shop organized.

move wood pallets neatly along trailer

change to grader and smooth area to north and move skid steer attachments there

switch back to forks and hook up fuel tank

lift tank off small trailer with a pile of chaos

change back to the grader and groom an area behind the fuel tank to place the slip tank

Again I am the director of no crashing in such a tight area but the well trained driver did it amazingly. I raked areas and tossed gravel back to road.

and it was carefully set in place after changing back to the forks. Good thing changing attachments is so easy!

this is the finished look for now

S went back to Matt’s at 5:30 to do more wiring. A lady came out for the 3 wooden coffee tables then I was back to washing and sorting baby clothes and toys.

Papa made the train and great uncle Alpha Johnson made the pull toy for Kaylin as a baby

4 car seat covers with a special monogrammed one for B

the pink snow suit had a few memorable photos in it, the yellow set in centre was another of Great Grandma Walker's handiwork

another beautiful hand knit outfit from GGW for K and just look at the wee tiny slippers!! XOXO

S came back home to get a piece then back to Matt’s. He was back just after Britt arrived to do her horse stuff around 7:30. My headache lasted all day even with 3 doses of migraine pills. It also made me feel nauseous most of the day. I was not hungry so skipped cooking supper. S cooked himself a pizza while he watched hockey. We did have a hot tub soak at intermission in hopes it helped headache and achy muscles. It did. I made us a yogurt bowl after the hot tub then I crawled into bed to relax and S to watch hockey of course.
