Plus 10 April Fool's Day

Harley was excited to have breakfast after missing her supper last night. Chalk it up to an Easter fast for her. I delivered the prince his coffee in bed. Creating a shared Easter photo album then setting S up to join it was the morning technology task. I published the nesting tables tutorial then shared to sites, sent email and such.

so excited to show me not 1 but 2 of her toys

I helped S load the 5 nesting boxes and hauled over and unloaded at Matt’s in an old barn he will be using until the sea can coop is built. Back I glued and rebuilt the change table drawer that was bust and nailed crazy and got it all back square and left to dry. The change table seems to be not quite as described but of course free things never are. S walked down the drive to peg off a gopher we saw.

old wood Matt sourced for S to use on the nesting box bases

S cooked grilled cheese sandwiches as well as a fried egg for him for lunch.

After lunch, S headed back to Matt’s to load up the lumber shown above to build the bases in the shop. I reorganized my work space free putting the change table all back together and posting it to give away. There is way to many issues with it to put work into and sell. But at least it now has a repaired drawer. Everything else was moved around now there is room. I took the round dining table I started awhile back apart. The top was set up on a work table and the legs sanded. This task makes your hands feel weird so I took H for a walk. It is plus 10 and sunny but sadly a windy day.

S picked up my new sander at the gate on his way back and dropped off. He cut all the base legs then took a ranger loop around the perimeter to look for gophers. I unpacked my sander and gave it a go on the table top I like it.

The other one worked perfect for the legs

We met back inside after H was fed for a beverage. I caught up the bog and S made a time sheet for this project. His parcel with chicken waterer nipples arrived and it also had these toe separators he wants to try for his bunion. I am going to try too for my arthritic toe. However I would think the surgeon I saw for it would have said try these??

feet are not pretty are they?

For supper we cooked smokies on the barbie, fries in the instant pot and sautéed fresh asparagus. Perfect spring like meal.

S popped out for a bit after supper to finish cutting legs and close up shop. I started going thru pictures from yesterday as I took a few LOL. But totally missed taking a group shot. :( Britt and Cooper were out late, fed and on their way. The snow is quickly disappearing with probably almost 1/2 the ground bare now.
