Happy Heart Day!!

Be darned if my cold has not now moved into a cough thru the night, ugh. Harley went out at 2:45 too. UGH. A hot coffee helped the throat and S added more creamer than usual. Happy Valentine’s Day! <3

Speaking of the cutest Valentine, above videos show a muffin she got at mommy and me class today. And it seems she likes it :)

I worked on getting the little green table posted for sale and other marketing. Eventually S moved from coffees in bed to big brown at 10:30. He gifted me a mani/pedi gift certificate and pack of liquorice, THANKS XOXO. I gifted him an old fashioned drink smoking kit. It does come with a caveat of 2 drinks per night while using :) He was even wearing this smoking jacket of sorts, hahaha.

Armed with a belly of cereal, he started vacuuming the main floor. I washed H slime off walls, baseboards and doors as he went along. We also vacuumed out the heat vents. Plants were moved around and misted. Things are looking fresh and tidy.

B while waiting for Bird to eat has Switch playing with her pompom, or I should say my toque pompom video

After our hour house tidy it was time for sustenance. I made us a tasty spinach salad and S finished off the chicken in sauce leftovers too. B and Coop arrived at 12:30. She fed Bird and was off to town quick. Back in big brown to rest S chatted with his Mom. The day started -13 but was now -5 with lots of sun.

S rolled a bale for the horses while I caught up the blog. He was back and hit big brown with a hot tea. Once B was back we all donned our parkas and snow boots and took the dogs for a walk they love so much. The wind was chilly but not long after we got back inside snow started. It was a brief squall. B ran her groceries home with Dave pulling in as she left. He jumped in the shower as they are off to the city for a Valentine’s dinner date.

We cooked up sautéed shrimp, lobster with baked potatoes. Pretty fancy for a home meal but way cheaper than a restaurant. We have a cookie by Dave for dessert. After cleaning up we started the final episode of Griselda at the island to stay awake and read subtitles. B and D arrived home with blizzards for their dessert after their supper.  B had a disappointing lobster meal but Dave enjoyed his crab club. They visited briefly then headed off before 8. We moved to the bed to finish Griselda then watched a movie called This Is Where I Leave You. Again how is Jane Fonda 85? Money and great doctors I guess.
